Falling face first straight for the end
All I see is self destruction
Actions made with no emotion
It's all burning inside my head
There's no hope for a race with no will to evolve
I am more than fine with knowing I don't belong
Life transfigure
I can feel my lungs depleting
Creatures of impulse
Born with no meaning
Let me suffer in silence while the world rots
Born into this forsaken mess
Total corruption
The world is damned
My feet are rooted in the ground
Polluted mind
Digital ignorance
The beginning of the end
Look how far we fell
There's nothing more to tell you
Ill will and greed is all that's left
Ill will and greed is all that's left
I stood by and watched what once was my hell become real
Drop your selfish notions, you've become pure evil
You've become pure evil
Been too far to watch this rot
Feelings gone but never forgotten
False fabrication will leave you burned
You walk the road of desolation
I see no progression
Steering out meer existence in the wrong direction
It's too far gone
Abandon us, abandon all of humanity
I walk a road where everyone seems alone
Prone to depression from a body whose been power grown
It's too far gone
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
Fucking sick shit this is.
Not a sickness born of virus or bacteria that leaves you vomiting and experiencing diarrhea at the same time resulting in a dilemma of toilet or shower.
No, this is sickness that will get your ass moving without soiling yourself. Obstacle of Affliction
Been listening to this since 2013. Eventually tried to track down a CD but now I'm starting to go digital. So, has 7 years of listening to this EP dulled the experience? Not even slightly. Amazing work. From Nathan's ghost beats on the snare, polyrhythmic measures and insane kick pedal work, Eric's unique tone on vocals and both Aaron and Josh's melodies and interesting structures. Just hope they get the chance to tour England soon. JAY DYER
